Advising a US venture capital fund considering an investment in a femtocell device manufacturer and service provider, on the technical, radio spectrum and regulatory issues involved.
Providing consulting support to Telstra in responding to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), reviewing the declaration of the Domestic Transmission Capacity Service (DTCS), on the regulation of leased lines in the EU/UK and the implications for regulation in Australia.
Advising a major global investment bank on the competition considerations in relation to the proposed joint venture between the BBC, ITV, BT, Channel 4 and Talk Talk (code-named Project Canvas) to develop an open standard for set-top boxes to enable broadcast- and broadband-delivered, linear and on-demand TV programming, to the television.
   Advising a leading global provider of enterprise Information Communications Technology (ICT) services and solutions on the regulatory obligations of becoming an electronic communications services (ECS) provider of unified communications services (including Voice over IP) to the small-to-medium enterprise (SME) sector.
   Advising a major overseas telecoms operator on the principles of functional separation and equivalence of inputs, developed as part of Ofcom’s strategic review of telecommunications (which led to the operational separation of BT Openreach), including lessons learned from their implementation.
